＋ "The view". It is wonderful but the hotel and service is horrible!!!!

－ I'd just like to start saying that this was this kind of vacation you wish become the best. My husband after 15 years protecting this country been in combat, he decide to retire from the army to start a normal civilian life, so we decided to start with a weekend trip to POCONOS. Unfortunately, we picked a not friendly militarily/pet hotel... Firstly, i'd just like to state that this is a very long review and if you'd take the time to read it maybe you'd consider avoiding this place at all costs! When we first arrived, we were expecting kindness, to be welcome but not we face long faces instead by the staff a lady and a guy, these people were being so rude, unhelpful, complaining about my dog because according to them PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE HOTEL, even more in the suites, expensive suites that we picked and paid to be comfortable, confirming with them day before about the suite and the charges for pet which is $25 extra in your bill. The room was very basic, dirty, with a horrible old dirty sofa, wall dirty because of a leaking from the bathroom upstairs, and a very basic bathroom. We booked a suite with 2 beds for our kids and us but we got dirty simple suite horrible carpets and one simple bed... Can you believe it!!! After a discussion about the room, they decided to give us the suite we paid for. I was expecting no seeing these people faces until me and my family end our Vac but not!!! I had to come back and ask them why my horrible room has only one bed when I paid for a suite with 2 beds!! The answers I got was" This is what we have" you can take it or not we don't have anything else!! CAN YOU PEOPLE BELIEVE IT!!ITS TOTALLY UNPROFESSINAL,TOTALLY UNREAL! I was so angry and my husband always sweet and kind he said ok but that was not fair for him, so I told them I want my money back.. answer was NO WE DONT DO THAT. WORST PLACE IN THE WORLD. MY TRIP WAS ON DEC27-2019. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THEY LIE MUCH and blame the internet and marketing BS.
